May 2nd, 2009 – The Association of Gaming Professionals (AGP) is proud to announce that every Classic Match of Quake 3 created now will have Marcus ‘djWHEAT’ Graham, TSN (Team Sportscast Network), and Radio iTG (Inside the Game) commentary where they are available.

Marcus Graham states: “Since leaving CGS I’ve been doing more casting and shows at djWHEAT.tv. Broadcasting Quake matches again has been the most enjoyable aspect of that return. With the imminent release of Quake Live and AGP’s dedication to Quake, it seemed appropriate to unearth these casts for old players and new players to enjoy. I hope it helps people remember why Quake was and will always be the greatest Deathmatch game to ever exist.”

Also announced today is the AGP Tour’s Classics Match of the Week. Every Wednesday, AGPTour.com will release a new Classic match for everyone to watch and support the sport in readying for the upcoming tournaments. These matches will feature the shoutcasting mentioned.

Jarod Reisin, president of the AGP Tour states: “The idea is that people of the community will get together and watch every week, commenting and chatting about the match like if it was live. These Classic matches are a testament to the validity of the sport of Quake. The rich and diverse histories that are shown in these matches and in the talent from famed commentators such as djWHEAT really show the capabilities this sport has always had.”
